Menopause Well-Being Group

We are proud to announce we will be hosting our 2nd  Monthly Menopause Well-Being Group today at 2.00pm – all the team are welcome. At The Local Care, we feel that there is not enough help for women during this important but often turbulent time, which is why we are setting up our Monthly Menopause  Well-Being Group to support the team.

The aim of the group is to support each other going through this big life event. We welcome all the team to attend the Menopause Well-Being Groups, whether this be for yourself, or to have greater understanding to support a partner, relative or friend.

The group will be

  • In an friendly, respectful and safe space
  • Open for all the team, regardless of gender or age
  • With no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action
  • We want to share our knowledge & experiences and support you in your journey.
  • Alongside Tea, Coffee and cake!

ARMED FORCES DAY – 24th June 2023

ARMED FORCES DAY is the annual opportunity for people to come together in recognition and to celebrate the wonderful service provided by our regular and reservist soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines, past and present, and the families that have supported them in turn.

We at The Local Care are proud to be able to support veterans in our local community.

CODE OF CONDUCT WORKSHOP

Our training room is ready for the next in house Code of Conduct Workshop

The Code of conduct sets the standard expected of all adult social care workers and healthcare support workers in England. Outlinging the behaviours and attitudes that people who need care and support should rightly expect. It describes how a support worker should behave and the Care Certificate describes the minimum things they must know and be able to do.

The Code of Conduct ensures you can be sure of the standards your worker is expected to meet, check that your worker can fulfil the requirements of their role, behave correctly and do the right thing at all times and identify areas for continuing professional development.
