Kirsten’s Cookery Club
Our Care Ambassador’s are teaching our service users who live in Supported Independent Living how to plan, shop, prep and cook a meal.
This is an opportunity for our service users to practise and develop useful kitchen techniques, cook interesting dishes, improve personal and social skills.
The service users will take it in turns who will host the cookery club and chose the menu for that week. We encourage the service users to go with us shopping each week for the ingredients to promote meal planning.
As well as learning to cook simple, delicious and healthy recipes from scratch, we will also be promoting healthy eating principles.
